1' Candle Storage
Store candles in a cool, dark and dry place. Excessive temperatures or direct sunlight can cause the surface of the candle to melt, which in turn affects the scenting of the candle, resulting in insufficient scent being emitted when it is lit.
2' Lighting the Candle
Before lighting a candle, trim the wick of the candle by 5mm-8mm; when you burn the candle for the first time, please keep burning for 2-3 hours; candles have a "burning memory", if the wax around the wick is not evenly heated for the first time, and the surface is completely melted, then the candle burning will be confined to the area around the wick. This will create a "memory pit".
3' Increase the burning time
Always pay attention to keep the length of the wick in 5mm-8mm, trimming the wick can help the candle burn evenly, but also to prevent the burning of black smoke and soot on the candle cup; make sure that the candle burns every time you burn after 2 hours, but do not exceed 4 hours; if you want to burn for a long time, every 4 hours to extinguish the candle, trim the wick length to 5mm, and then light it again.
4' Extinguishing candles
Always remember, don't blow out candles with your mouth! This not only damages the candle, but also produces black smoke, turning the wonderful aroma of a scented candle into a smoky odour; you can use a candle extinguisher to extinguish the candle, or dip the wick into wax oil with a candle extinguishing hook tool; stop the candle burning when it's less than 2cm long, otherwise it will lead to an empty flame and risk blowing up the cup!
5' Candle safety
Never leave candles unattended; keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets; protect your furniture, candles become quite hot after 3 hours of burning, so try not to place them directly on furniture; the lid can be used as a heat insulating pad.
